4-20
Didn’t think I had enough to make it one more row and have cnupps so I frogged back to redo my previous row and add cnupps. I’ll finish off with a picot edging and call it a day.
Using a K hook. You do not need a Tunisian/afghan hook for this project.
I’m on row 2 and can see that this will show the linked stitches every other row due to turning. i want the linked stitches to all be forward facing so I am adding a row of sc after each row of linked stitches.
This pattern also assumes you work into the next stitch. it tells you how many stitches to work but doesn’t tell you where to place them. Each instruction goes into the next stitch in the row below.
2-22
follow the written pattern and don’t use the cove photo to count your rows. there is an extra row on the cover photo that is not on the pattern and if you just use the photo ot determine when you have finished the 1st triangle you will be 1 row over. If this does happen, just start the shells on row 2 of the shells using the large center shell at the point.
because I am working a row of SC I have opted against the picots for the building of the shells and just work into one sc at the base of the shells.
NOTES
- did 1 row of SC between each row of linked stitches so all tuni faced the same way
- didn’t do picots on shells due to the 1 row of sc, just worked into 1 stitch
- I had 1 extra stitch left on each shell so I just skipped it. would have done a sc1 ch1 1sc in next stitch but was already going the way I was
Lefty note…
no lefty changes needed!
