It was a very challenging order made from a mother who wanted to make a unique gift to her small son. The bay is fond of the animated series of Mr. Bean.
It took long time examining different pictures of the character, even watching several episodes.
The start was difficult. I had to frog the head two-three times until I got a satisfying result. After the head appeared to be too heavy and impossible to stay straight on the neck. So, I had to fix it with some wire from the inside. I made two versions of the eyes, two versions of the hair and after more than a month of intensive crocheting I got a good result.
Final doll was 40 cm tall and the boy loved it. Today he brings his crochet Mr. Bean everywhere he goes.
