Notes

I knew going in I wanted to adjust the original pattern to make a reusable replacement for the newer 360-degree duster wigs, rather than the traditional one-sided. There was a difference in my yarn and/or tension, too, so I had to make adjustments for that. I’m also not certain that the model hasn’t changed a bit, much like the Sweeper has. Finally, I discovered there were preference adjustments I needed to make, like closing one end completely, and leaving a little of the open end uncovered with the bulky loops, so I could better see where the holes were to insert the prongs of the Duster. What I ended up with was a much-changed pattern, which I hope to post (with proper credit to the orignal, of course) soon.

Pattern is posted, and I’ve tried out my duster around my house. It picks up dust and even bunny hair at least as well as the storebought Swiffer 360 Duster refills. I’ll definitely be making some more (maybe some nicer colors, lol) after I get a few other projects taken care of.
