Making these primarily for a stylized bunny costume, for Halloween. They didn’t work out for me in regular crochet or knitting, because I couldn’t count stitches once they were made; couldn’t see them in this yarn. I’m going to try loom knitting them, instead, from a loom knitting pattern that uses the same yarn weight (it’s just not furry).

One glove done, and it was so easy! Besides using the furry yarn, where the pattern calls for a super-bulky that’s smoother, I made one other change: The pattern calls for marking the base of the top rim-kind-of-thing, and only seaming up to that marker when you assemble. That leaves the top open all funky, and wouldn’t have held it in place on my hand the way I wanted, so i sewed from the top down the base of the rim, then from the bottom of the glove up to the last of my increases. It left a perfect thumbhole.

It only took an hour, maybe? I wasn’t watching the time real close, but I know it wasn’t long. Point being, I should have the other glove finished tonight.
