Notes

This is a finished hat with a pattern inspired by one of the most common plants in my neighbourhood. Sambuccus nigra is more known in my country as a fruit and traditional medicine component, however the flowers are also used. I know it as an ingredient of a tasty spring beverage.
I think there is no spring or autumnal walk without seeing the sambuccus plant, so I’ve decided to make a corresponding hat. The one shown in the photo is for spring time, but it is also possible to make the autumnal one by simply changing the palette.
