Thanks so much to TSovacool for the inspiration!

The pattern doesn’t take much attention, as I use each yarn, I’m thinking about all the aspects of the yarn: where I bought it, circumstances that lead to its purchase, what I made, how I discovered and liked the pattern, who it was for, how they are doing/liking it now, etc. I finished 59 projects in 2018, so most of my scraps are from those, hence this project’s name.

I’m actually using the ChurchMouse pattern (with heavy tweaking to suit my personal taste), but wanted to link to the project that inspired me. Besides there are only so many ways to say “ch, sc. rinse and repeat”. My scraps box finally has become so full the lid wouldn’t close which means: time to start a scrap project. Fringe comes from the tails at every row, so there is an unspoken “leave six+ inch tail” at the beginning and end of every row.
