Came out larger than I thought it would, but it’s adorable. Used leftover worsted-weight yarn and 5.0 mm hook. Followed directions, but my #of stitches ended up being 25 around instead of 30 around for the main part of the owl, and it turned out great. Very easy. The eyes and beak are a bit fussy, but easy. I had large black buttons, but makes the owl look very “awake”. Ha ha.

I also made a smaller owl - same pattern - and added some catnip to the filling, to give as a cat toy gift. Very cute!
