Swatched holding the yarn double, and I like it much more.
Cast on 90 st on size 5 using tubular cast on, holding yarn double.
Twisted rib for about 15 rows.
Place stitch markers to mark the various sections.
Place BOR marker (BLACK - left shoulder pattern start),
knit 5 in pattern, PM (ORANGE- left shoulder end),
knit 10 in pattern, PM (PURPLE - back start),
knit 15 in pattern, PM (PURPLE - back end),
knit 10 in pattern, PM (YELLOW - right shoulder start),
knit 9 in pattern, PM (YELLOW - right shoulder end),
knit 10 in pattern, PM (PINK - front start),
knit 17 in pattern, PM (PINK - back end),
knit 10 in pattern, PM (ORANGE - left shoulder start),
knit 4 in pattern, BOR (BLACK - left shoulder pattern start)
Short Rows

Row 1: Knit to orange marker, SM, m1r, knit to yellow marker, m1l, SM, knit to second yellow marker, SM, m1r, k2, turn

Row 11 (or whenever short rows end):
knit RS, picking up all remaining double stitches (only one remains.
You’ll begin increasing at the front and back, every other row, and continue increasing at the shoulder edges every other row.
Yarn held double throughout. Decreased 2 st in sleeves every 8th row.
