I did 8 rounds for the ribbing on the cuff and then I did 17 rounds of stockinet for the body of the mittens before the decrease rounds. I used a size H/5mm crochet hook to make a 20 inch cord between the mittens. I think this project took me a total of maybe 2 1/2 hours from start to finish.
