Sleying on the warp

Use premade warp chains. Sley every slot. 9-yard warp.

Load premade warp chains onto lease sticks, and do ‘helping hands’ technique to keep the lease sticks in position. Cut the ends of the warp so they can be sleyed through the reed.

Sley reed first and tie in bundles behind the reed to temporarily secure. Turn loom so back is accessible. Then sley heddles. Then tie to back beam. Experimenting with different ways to warp this loom.

Reed is slayed. Installing under-castle lighting today and then will sley the heddles.
