Notes

I wanted the neck a little smaller, so I cast on with a size 5 with 123 sts. After working the short rows and before beginning the double yarn overs, I switched to a size 6 needed and worked my way up to a size 38.5”. I did enough increases at the bottom to get closer to 41” at the hips. Very easy pattern to adjust. I also loved the short rows around the neck because I have made sweaters that are low in the back (a common problem with sweaters in the round) and I don’t like them that way!

Love the yarn and the soft drape. I washed the sweater and dried it part way, checking to see how it looked. I didn’t even block it, it came out of the dryer just as it looks in the photos. The picture of the bottom hem makes it look a bit ruffled, but it goes away once it’s on. (Photos to come when I am not 30 weeks pregnant). Also, the color is a bit darker in person, but didn’t photograph well. It looks rich and beautiful in person.
