A surprise for Amanda! She’s always wearing scarves/wraps and I’ve been wanting to knit her something for awhile. I bought this yarn earlier in the year at the Yarn Crawl, but never wear wraps myself, Luke suggested this as an idea. I took a vaca so hopefully I can get this done before the end of January!

12/21: Casted on!

12/30: Wasn’t able to work on this for about a week because I had to finish Josh’s sweater. Repeat #1, row 32.

1/07: Repeat #3, row 6.

1/17: Repeat #4, row 30.

1/23: Repeat #5, row 24. Halfway!!!

1/26: Repeat #6, row 36.

1/28: Repeat #8, row 3.

2/01: Done!! Just needs to finish soaking, then block.

I had to size all the way up to a 9 just to get the Bind Off row loose enough, and I did so in Purl to match the very beginning (pattern does not state whether to K or P when binding off), and it still could be looser. I think the stitches are doing that on their own, no matter the needle size. The last row stitches were pulling the BO stitches down so they automatically tightened. Finished measurements about 72x20”. This feels delightful! I think I’ll make one for myself…or at least something similar out of this yarn.
