The peach background colour is from my granny’s stash of Shetland wool which I am using very carefully. She passed in July 2018 - nearly two years ago now. The wool was in a hank and I balled it up. It is pure Shetland wool and is soft and fine.

At long last I’ve finished off Fair Isle and begun knitting fingers! I will finish this week - can’t believe I’ve had them lingering for so long as WIP!

And finally finished. Pattern from my own design but adapted to use the hand frame machine knit cuffs my friend Christina made me years ago when I commissioned her to knit body up from the green cone of Spindrift Shetland wool I’d bought from mill on guild summer outing, before pandemic.
