mods:
-started with #4 needle; switched to #3 after first batch of goat eyes
-purled the increase row and used it as a turning row
-knit the cast-on edge with row 8 in the first go-round of the pattern, saving on sewing later

  • make a simple and matching scarf from remainder
  • too short to be a scarf, so it’s a gaiter with wooden toggle buttons to close it.
