December 2014 Just the long slog of the body left. My gauge is wonky and I don’t like how I did the waist shaping so I will frog to just below the underarm and reknit on the machine!

Swatching on the machine, starting with tension set at 6.
Tension 6 7sts/inch
Tension 5 8sts/inch
Tension 4 8.5sts/inch

My hand knit gauge is 7sts/inch.

There are 356 sts which is 51 inches! The yoke gauge is ok.

So! frogged back to the yoke and will knit the pieces on the machine, Tension set at 4 Dot Dot, making a size small, 41 inches.

Ha ha easier said than done, the curve of the yoke prevents me from just hanging it on the machine. Must knit a few rows of each piece (at gauge please!) before transferring to the machine.

Plan C: make the pieces separately on the machine then graft to yoke, knit ribbing by hand, sew raglan seams, sew side seams. Go!
Dec 18, 2014 just flew through the plain knitting and most of the ribbing, this would be easy with a light-colored yarn! Next, just miles of sewing
