Making for mugs, not so much for commercial cups. Cast on 8 for the width to fit under a mug handle.

Using body yarn tripled in seed stitch on size 8 needles.

Used brown yarn single on #2 needles. Followed the instructions for the head but knitted it in the round. Did a 3-stitch i-cord for the legs.

Did a 4-stitch i-cord for 4 rows with the body yarn single on #2 needles for the tail. Left the last row open and sewed the loops into the body.

I used bits of Velcro for attaching.

Made 4, one each for my knitting group’s Christmas exchange.
