Nice pattern, easy enough to make. Has one or two problems in the actual pattern write up. Yarns required aran/DK/worsted. Needles 3.25mm for rib and 4.00mm for main body. Tension 22sts x 29 rows over 10 cms on 4mm needles.
I cannot see, personally, how a hat design for an adult, can still turn out adult size using the size needles required. The tension fits DK, 4mm needles. I used larger needles and DK, it has turned out as suitable for a child.

A lot of the patterns seem to use 4mm needles with tension for DK, whatever the yarn, unless of course it is chunky. There are no designer attributes, so I have no idea where any of the patterns originated from.
