Decided to yarn bomb a stop sign near my local library, because not only did the red of the sign go well with the yarn, but also beause it’s in the shade so it should hold its colour well.

Actually had someone ask me what I was doing. It was kinda fun trying to explain it without sounding like a loon.

I really need to make some laminated cards with a picture of Google with “Yarn bombing” typed in the searce area field thingy.

Using the stitch pattern from the Monkey socks, I’m knitting a strip wide enough to wrap around a generic pole and as long as I have yarn left.

The yarn is very shiny and soft in a plastic-y sort of way. Should look very pretty in the daylight and probably more suited for something where it isn’t next to the skin.
