This yarn was a fabulous deal at Tuesday Morning. I swatched countless things in crochet & it was just too bulky, I didn’t like anything.

Guess I’m gonna have to break down & knit it!

And, as I’m completely crazy, I’m even making up my own pattern.

Swatched several stitch patterns from a stitch dictionary until I found one I liked. If it turns out well I might even write it up as a pattern!

Pre-blocking gauge in patt: 9 sts (1.5 repeat) = 4”
10 rows (2.5 repeats) = 4”

Blocked piece stretched at 11.5x24.5
Off wires gauge in patt: 6 sts (1repeat) = 4”
8 rows (2 repeats) = 4”
