I was inspired by the color used by TheFatSquirrel’s hat and decided to use a similar rusty color for my hat. I made a small oopsy in the beginning;cast on too many stitches. I swear I checked 3 times! So the bottom is a little wider than it should be, but it’s okay, I have no preference for hat tightness. Also I must not have been paying attention because there is a disconnect between the ribbing cuff section and the honeycomb pattern section. Oh well! The pattern was very fun and I can’t stop looking at my new beauty!
