Yay, got it done in time for the wedding (23.06.)!

I went on an almost three weeks long holiday in Greece during the period I was knitting it, so the most of it got done within about one month. The last 40 cm or so was left with only a few days to do it, the last twenty-odd ends got woven in today! Thankfully I had knitted in the ends where I could, so it was not too overwhelming.

Out of the twelve colours of Karisma I bought online I chose to only work with eight, adding turquoise from Viking so nine colours altogether.

I tried with 4.5 mm needles first, but the blanket became too wide, so I ended up with 4 mm. That made the row gauge too short, so I had to add several stripes. I ended up not following the pattern exactly.

Weight 1045 g, size 113 x 153 cm (unwashed and unblocked - I didn’t have time to wash it, but I steamed it lightly after taking measurements).

Windy photoshoot, the blanket wouldn’t stay still for very long!
