2014-12-29: I’ve been staring at my stash of Phydeaux yarn for weeks, knowing that I want to knit with it, but not knowing quite what I want to make. Finally cast on a top-down hat for myself.

2015-01-11: Knitting is complete - I’m thinking of doing some crochet chain embroidery on the solid colour area.

2015-01-14: Decided on my embroidery pattern - a dachshund in profile. I love my doxies. :)
The outline was done with Phydeaux Soie Bohemian in stem stitch, and the heart was done in duplicate stitch using DMC embroidery floss, colour #3328.
