Cast on!

Had a hard time figuring out size - pattern says adult S/M/L is 7.5”/8”/9” cuff but my leg at the top of the sock is approx 11” and diagonally across my heel is approx 13” (shoe size women’s US 8-9) ended up casting on M / 64 sts

First time using magic loop or doing ribbing.

6 rounds of ribbing in and I tried it on and it’s enormous.

My tension is inconsistent and loose right now, and I had about 28 sts/4” instead of target 32, but hard to tell how accurate that is since it’s still on the needles and I wasn’t sure hows stretched/scrunched it should be.

Even if I hit swatch, I don’t understand how I’m supposed to pick a size based on my measurements.

Probably frogging this and casting on according to small size and hoping the second time my tension is tighter
