OMG OMG I invented something! The cable pattern is based on Barbara Walker’s Triple Gull stitch but I added a fourth gull and turned it upside down. Construction and technique were inspired by General Hogbuffer’s Stripe Tease.

The idea for this pattern hit me right between the eyes and kept me up until three in the morning sketching and mathing etc. I designed it for the second Tour-de-Sock, a most excellent fundraiser/speed knitting event benefitting Doctors Without Borders.
