Notes
  • Swatch on 3.0 mm needles, before blocking: 24-25 stitches and 34 rows/ 10 cm. After blocking: 24 stitches and 32-33 rows. I think the finished cardigan will stretch more lengthwise than the small swatch did, so I’m going to go with this, even though the row gauge is off. Yarn used on the swatch: 8 grams.
  • I would have found it helpful to have an explanation in the book about cable cast-on.
  • The beginning was slightly challenging, it took me a while to figure out how it all goes together. The unusual construction creates a great fit for the shoulders, so it’s worth the effort.
  • The listed yardage includes the swatch.
