Scales from The Ring Lord. I use the small leaf shaped 9/16” x 7/8” scales.

July 23, 2012: I have 1000 scales, so hopefully I don’t run out. I have made a swatch, and have a plan. Now I just need to wait 4 more days!

July 27, 2012: I don’t think I have enough scales. I have used just over 150 one just the first 3 scale rows. I think I will order more now to be sure.

I ordered more scales. Got through 5 scale rows the first day!

July 29, 2012: I ran out of scales so I will have to wait for the rest to arrive. I am on the body and have about 10 more inches of scales.

August 3, 2012: the scales arrived today, so I can get back to work!

Got two more scale rows done.

August 4, 2012: got two more scale rows done. Almost 800 scales left, and shirt measures about 8” from start. Needs to be about 19”.

August 7, 2012 (8:00 pm MDT): Done! I used around 2000 scales.
