I tend to be a loose knitter but certainly not as loose as Petra!
Cowl: S 2/7, F 2/9
CO 121 stitches onto a size 10 needle, change to size 9’s and knit to pattern. I’m a big fan of stitch markers but in this case I put one every second pattern section. Working great . Knit through row 6 of the decrease section, switched to size 8’s and finished pattern. I added a second skein on row 2 of the neck ribbing. Should still have plenty to make my beanie.

Beanie: S 2/10, F 2/11
Since I’m always cold and have very short hair, I need extra warmth on my ears. CO 73 stitches onto size 8’s, knit in 2x2 ribbing for 2”, changed to size 7’s ’s and continued for 2” more. Switched back and knit to pattern til beanie measured 10” from the CO edge. Finished to pattern. Love it!
