Notes

Note: KTB of 1st stitch, slip last stitch purlwise with yarn in front

Note: This has been on hold at the 1st section 6 for a year! Our new puppy dog was my excuse, too hard to add beads with her in my lap! Picked up and started again on July 22, 2024. Well on the way to getting it finished!

Pattern is fun and reasonably fast knit, I need to remember to pay attention to the slip stitches at the end of the Section 2 rows.
Section repeat pattern (at least 3 repeats):
3 (+4) x x x x
2 (+8) x x x x
3 (+4) x x x x
4 (+1) x x x x
5 (+2) x x x x
4 (+1) x x x x
5 (+2) x x x x
4 (+1) x x x x
3 (+4) x x x x
6 (+8) x x x
6A(+7)---- x
3 (+4) x x x x
7 (+1) x x x
Repeat #1 - 54 stitches
Repeat #2 - 94
Repeat #3 - 134
Repeat #4
I’m loving knitting this shawl! I am a fan of stranded cotton yarns, I love how the colors change as the threads are added and deleted. I’m only at the first color change in this one (3 turquoise, 1 green to 2 turquoise and 2 green) and the subtle difference is coming through.

First repeat: Section 6
I added 6/0 silver-lined AB aqua beads to the SK2TOGP stitches and it looks like dewdrops on the leaves. Awesome!

Second repeat: Section 6
Added 6/0 AB teal beads. These bring out the green in the yarn.

Third repeat: Section 6
Added 6/0 AB Rainbow Black opaque beads. Very cool effect against the jade and midnight threads.

I have quite a bit of yarn left but not sure if I can complete section 6, 3, 7, 3 to finish the pattern. Decided to create my own.

Fourth repeat: Section 6A Sprinkles
Row 1 - Ktb, kfb, (YO, K2tog, add 6/0 AB cobalt opaque bead) repeat across, slip stitch purlwise (or k1, slip one)
Row 2 - Ktb, purl to last stitch, slip stitch purlwise
Row 3 - Ktb, kfb, knit to last stitch, slip
Row 4 - Ktb, purl to last stitch, slip
Repeat rows 1-4 3 times; repeat rows 1 & 2

Great knit! I really love how this turned out, beads add a fun look, I love sparkle! Will make many more of these, I have quite a few different yarns that will knit up awesome with this pattern!
