I guess us old folks can still learn new things, I just did my first picot cast on! It took a couple of tries, but I really like how it came out. Thank you, Petra, for encouraging me to at least try something new!

Added my 2nd skein on row 5 of section 7. I have plenty of yarn, I added 5 extra rows to section 9 of the pattern. BO with both yarns and a size 15 needles.

This pattern is truly reversible, I can’t decide which side I prefer. The only reason it matters is how I tie in the yarn ends.
