Notes

Small circular projects are not easy for me, so I tend to avoid them or procrastinate (I’m looking at you, Sleeve Island). I would have knit many fingerless mitts by now if I didn’t have to knit in the round, specifically a small circumference. And then Knitstrips came around the corner! Mind blown!! I’m having the time of my knitting life playing with this interactive pattern by knitting lengthwise instead of across in a circle. One seam to stitch it all together at the end. Stay tuned!!

Sideways Gauge: 8 st and 4.75 R per 1”
Measurements: 6.5” length, 7.5” circumference.
Cast on 36 sts long-tail method without a slip knot.

Mods:

• Created the effect of a 1.5” cuff, 1 x 1 corrugated ribbing
• Used knit and purl tbl for a more tidy looking project
• 2” for thumb hole felt more comfortable than the suggested 1.5”

Theses mitts are cool.
