I used GIMP to create this pattern. Starting with a faggot lace background, I then created a smallish dragonfly image, which I then stretch by 3 times and superimposed on the background in a random pattern. The lace background has 6 passes of lace for every 2 knitted rows. That’s why I stretched the dragonfly by 3 for the pattern, as only 2 out of 6 rows of the dragonfly in the pattern would be knitted.
I used img2track to load the pattern into the machine. Selected 160 needles into work and knitted 798 lace carriage passes, and 266 knitted rows.
I think it could’ve been longer. But I’m pretty satisfied with it.
