Wow, I hate knitting with this yarn. It’s like knitting with rope. Yikes. I like this pattern, though. Quick knit and nice hat with an interesting pattern.

Started the hat making the large size, but after a few rows it looked like it was going to be a 25” or 26” hat. Had to start over with a 72 stitch cast on and size #7 needles.

I really don’t like this yarn - it’s too stiff, even after I blocked the hat. It’s itchy even though it’s merino. I’m adding a lining in Berroco Ultra Alpaca.
