I made this sweater when my oldest son was going to Northwestern University, where the school color is purple. I wore this every time we went to Chicago.

I didn’t use a pattern. I just used a Double Moss Stitch and knitted away. K2, P2, K2 P2, and then on the other side you P2, K2, P2, K2 - you knit over purl and purl over knit.

Then I just added fringe. A no brainer scarf.
