Part 12 really kicked my butt. I messed up on the opening sts and threw my count off for the whole row. Spent ages fixing it. It was still off by a st or 2 when I finished, but can totally live with that.

Needing to add the 2nd skein of Urth soon. Trying to decide how best to do it, colorway-wize. There is a definite pattern/stripe repeat, but I’m not sure I wound both hanks in the same direction.

PS, on Part 27 now.

Extensive research (me unwinding half of the cake of yarn) has determined that in fact skein two is wound the opposite direction of skein one. Glad to have figured it out before I knit thousands of stitches.

Had to stop taking pics because it was too big on the needles to get good shots. Besides…waiting for is is half the fun, right??!!!

Bound off 477 sts (somehow picked up 4 extra sts somewhere!) Took me about an hour. Used a standard BO.

This is SO GORGEOUS!!!

Finished blocking and weaving in ends today. Will photograph tomorrow in all its glory!
