So hard! Why do I struggle so much with Brioche???

Decided to just rip it out and start again. Sooooo many mistakes and bad repairs. Figured I’d start fresh before I got too far (Row 14).

P.S. My yarn was so fuzzy from all the restarts that I did this one from the outside of the cakes. :o/

Okay, found MORE mistakes in the new cast on, but didn’t rip it all out this time. I also put in lifelines. So much for my hubris. This is not exactly mindless tv knitting because I must have been enjoying Reacher too much since I found a purl instead of a knit about 8 rows BEFORE my lifeline. Good times. I SWEAR I am not a drinker! joy tropical_drinkflushed

Just hit 201 sts. This pattern continues to challenge me! I found 8 dark color sts about 10 rows down that had been purled instead of knit. Pretty proud of myself for fixing them without TOO much trouble. My brain is finally wrapping around the structure of this stitch.

Ugh! Had to rip out 8 rows on the border because I missed an increase.

Bound off yesterday. Pretty tight. Going to try to block it out. Wish me luck!
