I’m so proud of myself!!!
This is my very first graphghan and I’m all done. I started it a while back and hadn’t touched it in months. This past week, I finished the last 45 rows in less than 3 days.

This blanket was made from a graph that I created myself and is worked completely in HDC with 3 rounds of SC for a simple border. The blanket body is 100 stitches by 120 rows. After completing the blanket, I sprayed it with water mixed with a little detergent until damp, then threw it in the dryer for about 35 minutes. I did this because the Caron yarn was a bit stiff, and I wanted to soften the overall feel of the blanket.

I’m really excited to work on my next graphghan. I’d like to do one in the tunisian stitch, but I’m a bit intimidated by that process. We’ll see. Right now, I feel like I can do just about anything!

Note:
If I decide to do this pattern again, I’ll choose a different yarn for the orange. For some reason, the Red Heart orange was not the same thickness as the black or Caron off white, so it made the blanket a little wobbly. I’ll probably go with Loops & Threads (or something similar) next time.
