I made Lorne from the Angel series, a gift to myself for Christmas.
Notes to self:
I have added 3-5 rounds total onto the head to fit the horns and eyes.
I made a dark brown hair cap (one for top of head and one for the back of head) and added each strand of lighter red-ish brown yarn one at a time (yarn strands face the back of the head), mainly just on top of head.
Sideburns: Ch 2.
Row 1: Sc in second chain from hk.
Row 2: ch 1, Sc.
Row 3: ch 1, 3 sc.
Row 4: ch 1, 2 sc, sc, 2 sc.
Row 5: Ch 3, sc across (7 sts).
Row 6: Ch 1, sc across. Bind off with long tail.
Horns: Ch 2.
Rnd 1: 5 sc in second ch from hk.
Rnd 2: Increase, sc around.
Rnd 3: Increase, sc around. (7 sts)
Rnd 4: Sc 3, sl st 3. (Uneven st count but this is how I did it)
Rnd 5: Sc 3, sl st. Bind off with a tail for sewing.
Nose: I didn’t write it down… I think I started with 4 sc in second ch from hk. Then Inc once every round two times. There are four rounds total on nose.
Eyes: With red yarn, ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hk. Sl st to first st and bind off with a tail. Add a 6 mm safety eye in the middle of crocheted piece.
Eye accents: With green yarn, Ch 5, 2 sc in second ch from hk and 2 sc in each ch across. Bind off with a nice yarn tail. With yarn needle, slip yarn tail through first st, leave rem for sewing.
