1.13.13: My BFF is due with a little boy on January 30th. I’m so excited to be making these for her!
I have decided to skip the elastic waist since I am making the newborn size.
As I start working on the short row shaping for the backside I am feeling like this is the most complicated pattern I have read so far for the short rows. I have already done it and ripped it out once… but I am determined to figure it out!
1.14.13: As far as I can read there is an error in the pattern… Each backside shaping row should have a W&T at the end of it.
Now… smooth sailing :)
I will definitely be knitting the legs in the round.
1.20.13: Pattern says to knit cuff in rev stockinette to match waistband however it would only match the waistband if you did the elastic waistband option. The regular option is stockinette stitch.
2.12.13: I doubt I will ever make these again. I am not sure I have been this disappointed in a pattern in a long time. Which is especially disappointing to me because I really like the designer. Maybe if this is ever not a free pattern anymore, some editing will be done to improve it.
