Good grief, I forgot how long this takes to knit! I worked on this until the day I was to wear it! (Note to self: finish up the stinkin’ 3rd clap ASAP and do not make another one!!!) This is my 2nd time making the Clap also in Caron’s Simply Soft. I made the whole clap this time since I bought plenty of yarn this time! I went through 2 entire skiens of the “Collection” S.S. and about 10-15% of a 3rd skien. These are 6oz. skeins w/ 315 yds. each. This clap came out much lighter weight than my first clap also in S.S. (?? Go figure!) The color is beautiful! “Celestial” matched my dress just right, it’s a hard color to find!
