Update: I have not seen this blanket come out of my mothers closet since the day I gave it to her! And yet I still give her more handmade gifts… Something is definitely wrong with me.

NOTE TO SELF: NEVER AGAIN! When I pushed the “cast on” button for this project, why didn’t I receive a pop-up warning of the never-ending, fiddly, monotonous cast-off reminiscent to Chinese water torture???? There should’ve been a form to read over & place a check mark by the “I understand that…” FIRST!!! I accuse Ravelry for this. I now have a twitch in my eye, carpal tunnel in all my joints, scoliosis in my back, restless leg syndrome, blisters on my hands, knots in my neck, dehydration, constipation, hemorrhoids, lethargy, and a mild case of turrets.
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the blocking process… !&!@$%!

10/6/11- On 472 sts. round now… gasp

8/9/11- Center done w/ sz.8 bamboo dpn’s. 9 into 1 done w/ sz. 9. Rest done w/ sz. 10 metal. Coming out beautiful this way! Very impressed w/ pattern so far.
