1-14-11: Project complete! Great pattern, highly recommend for quick yet very elegant looking gifts!2 Skeins of 315 yrds. each made 6 scarves actually, 2 out of them are a tad bit shorter than the rest. The majority of them are waist length, just long enough to dress up a blouse. I’m sewing on glass bead pearls to my moms scarf being the one of honor. Otherwise I hope my sisters & Mom like them. They look so rich in the plain old cheap Simply Soft!! And I always get compliments on projects made in that yarn too! ;)

I had a strained time understanding the pattern at first when it would say: sl st in 1st free 4-st chain, and then something like, sl st in next free 4-st chain. The word “free” just threw me for a loop! I’m like, “Free? As in: I paid for each loop made? But one of them is ‘free’??” …such a blond moment… ;P
