This is my 2nd blanket and my first with this pattern from Carla Malcomb. Her pattern is very easy to follow and she gives good detailed directions which is especially nice for a novice crocheter like me. The one thing I was not able to do is make my border look like hers, so I made an adaptation that worked for me. I will use this easy pattern many times and figure out how to make the border as written. I’ll likely buy more of Carla’s patterns because she writes clear instructions.
