The original pattern was sampled in a hand spun ombre yarn. This project shows how a variegated yarn that has been dyed in shorter color lengths might look.

Beads used are size 6/0 Miyuki glass seed beads in color #269 Ice Blue-lined Crystal AB.

I had a partial skein of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in color Forest left over from another project. For this scarf, I beaded only the first 5 leaf repeats at each end of the scarf. Also, since this scarf is made in 2 halves, I was able to work on both ends at the same time and work until I had used up all the yarn to make the scarf as long as I could with the yarn I had.
