Planning a not so crazy version: MC in aqua Lambada, CC white DROPS Cotton Viscose. Both yarns are practically the same quality but strangely the Lambada is really lovely and soft to knit whereas the DROPS yarn is quite hard to the fingers when knitting and softens only afterwards during wash and wear…
I am omitting the CC stripes in the upper body and arms, knitting only the diagonal stripes in white. I have only two skeins of the DROPs yarn left from another project - I hope this will be enough. If not, I will have to buy another skein, in that case I hope that the difference between the new and old White will be small or invisible - anyway I will not change skein within a stripe, so the difference should not show that much.

August, 23:
My two white skeins are definitely not sufficient. But somehow I would like this to be a UWYH project (Use What You Have), so I decided to make just three big diagonal stripes which takes up 1.5 skeins and use the rest of the white for a striped neck ribbing. Today I put in waste yarn so I could try the sweater on - it fits perfectly and looks really cool and I think it will look quite interesting with only those few stripes!

September 4th:
Finished the hem ribbing after finishing arms and neck ribbing. Tried on the finished tunic - do not like the length and the clinginess of the ribbing… The length is longer than intended because of the yarn’s weight. However, I tried how it would look with a folded-up hem without the ribbing and I think that will be quite nice. So I frogged the hem ribbing and now I have to sew the hem.
