I plan to knit a solid colour version with arms in lace pattern. As lace pattern I plan to use the lovely chandelier lace pattern from Simona Merchant-Dest’s Lace Cardigan.

It seems quite a challenge to “marry” those two patterns regarding the short-rowed start of the arms… Let’s see how this works out. :-)

July, 25:
The adaptation with the lace pattern for the arms worked fine. Everything fits well. As I am opting for an A-Line silhouette, I will not decrease for the waist, but knit straight down to the hip and then increase a little more often than the pattern calls for (every 4 cm instead of 5 cm).
I think I will knit a longer version, a tunic, with two pattern repeats of the lace pattern as bottom border.

August, 11:
After a nearly endless time of plain stockinette I will now start the border, yay!
