This was a fast, fun way to try my hand (no pun intended!) at stranded knitting! I really enjoyed making these, and am so pleased with how they came out.
The one thing I wasn’t crazy about with the pattern was the afterthought thumb. I prefer a gusseted thumb, and think it would look much better. Might try it on the next pair, if I can figure out how to modify the pattern. At the very least, I would make the thumb longer than the pattern states. Also, I might try doing an additional row of decreases before the ribbing at the top, as I find that the top of the mitt was kind of loose. I did decide to block them, so we’ll see how they fit after they dry.
All in all, it’s a great way to try stranded knitting!!
