Need to swatch to determine needle size
7/21- Got my bead order from Fusion beads, and also picked up some from my local bead store! Strung them on some dental floss, just have to wind the yarn and I’ll be all ready to cast on!
7/22-What was I thinking??? LOL Casting on 417 stitches in lace and beading??? 17 days…hhhmmmm You can do it!!! :)
8/4-Finished. Very enjoyable knit, and I love the shawl. A perfect shawl for summer. The only modification I would make next time, is I would do the short rows differently. The pattern specifies not to wrap the turns, but I would definitely wrap on the next one and pick the wraps up. I’m assuming the way they are done as written is meant to be a design element, but I think I would much prefer for them to be less visible. Otherwise, I love it! :)
