I find knit alongs incredibly motivating and I typically race through and finish ahead of schedule (or knit multiples). BUT, if I don’t finish by the end date I often lose steam and set the project aside (often forgetting about it for a while).

This Arika Cowl is a prime example. I cast on in 2016 during a KAL and only just recently finished blocking and seaming it (2022)! I made a fun little video of me blocking my cowl https://youtu.be/r29VHrJBcUk.

I decided to hold off on adding the fringe because I really like the way it looks without as well! As this is my second Arika in TFA I know that there’s enough leftover in the skein to add fringe later on if I feel like it.
