Notes

This is a heavily modified version of Stephen West’s “Boneyard” shawl-

My modifications- I used US#35 needles.. and I did YO increases, and used 5 different yarns..

My stockingette sections were each one yarn (corespun plied, corespun/coiled/nply, single autowrapped/relaxed ply, extreme twist), then I did the garter stitch and bind off in a tailspun (that I was gifted from a friend at SAFF) The final yarn used before the bind off is the extreme twist yarn, which acts as the “fringe”

The yarns are all white alpaca base (with exception of the teeswater tailspun).
I added handfuls of “treasure” fiber leftover from my carding sessions for the pops of color.
The top section coil I spun in california at Lexi’s in 2011, and the coilboil (corespun/coil/nply) I spun with her in GA Feb 2012.
