Custom woven for a friend.
she asked me for a black/neutral piece with metallic accents..
I spun 2 yarns- a FAT navajo ply with locks and sequins in all neutrals- black, grey and super dark brown with a touch of antique gold. Then I spun a thread ply with black merino and TONS of ‘metal’ bling- copper, gold, silver, gun metal, black and brown..
I added cashmere laceweight, habu stainless steel/silk, assorted SAORI wool yarns in blacks and grey.. some silk yarn and something with gold lurex. I also added wensleydale locks and angelina.

I threaded my loom with a 100 wool prewound in black, and I used my 12.5 dent.. but I skipped a lot of spaces.. so the width is more like 15-16inches before fulling.
